Vantage Cashback of Up to $20/Lot: Is It Worth It?

Vantage cashback of up to $20 per lot on Standard STP accounts: how it works, what it is worth at different volumes, and when it makes sense for you.

Vantage cashback through PipRefund pays up to $20 per standard lot on the Standard STP account — the highest rate among the brokers we work with. $20 is the maximum; the actual amount can vary by instrument and Vantage’s partner terms. But a big number on its own doesn’t answer the real question: is it worth it for you?

This guide breaks down how Vantage cashback works, what up to $20/lot adds up to at realistic volumes, and who benefits most.

How Vantage cashback works

Vantage runs an introducing broker (IB) programme. When you open an account through a partner link, Vantage pays that partner a commission based on your trading volume. PipRefund passes most of that commission back to you as cashback.

Key points:

  • Your trading conditions don’t change. You get the same spreads and execution as any other Standard STP client.
  • The account must be opened through our partner link so your volume is tracked to us.
  • Cashback is paid weekly, based on closed lots.

What up to $20 per lot is worth

The formula at the maximum rate is straightforward:

Maximum cashback = Standard lots traded × $20

Lots per monthMonthly cashback (up to)Yearly cashback (up to)
5$100$1,200
15$300$3,600
40$800$9,600
100$2,000$24,000

Partial lots count proportionally: a 0.25-lot trade earns up to $5. Use the rebate calculator to plug in your own numbers.

Worked example: a month of day trading

A day trader on Vantage Standard STP opens around 6 trades per day at 0.2 lot each, over 20 trading days:

  • 6 × 0.2 = 1.2 lots per day
  • 1.2 × 20 = 24 lots per month
  • 24 × $20 = up to $480 cashback per month

Over a year, that is up to $5,760 returned — without changing a single trade.

How up to $20/lot compares with other brokers

On cashback alone, Vantage comes out ahead. But cashback is only one part of your total trading cost. The spread you pay on each trade matters just as much, and it differs between brokers, instruments and market conditions. Compare the full picture in our Exness vs XM vs Vantage comparison.

Is it worth it? It depends on your style

Worth it if you…

  • Trade regularly on a Standard STP account. The more lots you close, the more the cashback adds up.
  • Prefer spread-only pricing. Standard STP accounts don’t charge a separate commission, and they carry the highest cashback rate.
  • Already like Vantage. If Vantage’s platforms and execution suit you, cashback is a straightforward cost reduction.

Think twice if you…

  • Trade only a few lots a year. Cashback will be small — still free money, but not a reason to switch brokers.
  • Mainly use Raw ECN. Raw ECN accounts price differently, with tighter spreads plus a commission. We currently publish cashback for Standard STP; contact us before opening a Raw ECN account to confirm what applies.
  • Would trade more just to earn cashback. That is the wrong incentive. Rebates should reduce costs on trades you would take anyway.

What can reduce or block your cashback

  • Account not opened through our link. Existing Vantage accounts are tied to their original partner.
  • Very short-duration trades. Brokers commonly apply rules on minimum holding times or trading patterns for IB commission.
  • Different instruments. Partner rates on gold, indices or other CFDs may differ from forex pairs.
  • Account ID not submitted. We need your trading account number to match your volume.

Vantage’s account conditions, available instruments and funding methods can change. Check the latest conditions on the broker’s official website.

How to get Vantage cashback

  1. Open a Vantage account through the partner link on our Vantage broker page.
  2. Complete the verification steps Vantage asks for.
  3. Open a Standard STP live account (MT4 or MT5).
  4. Submit your account ID through the sign-up form.
  5. Trade as usual and receive cashback every week.

The bottom line

At up to $20/lot, Vantage cashback is the highest rate in our programme and can return thousands of dollars a year to an active Standard STP trader. It is worth it when Vantage already fits your trading — not as a reason on its own to trade more.
